Permanent cosmetic procedures are safe when
the technician has had proper education and
follows CDC and OSHA regulations like
single-use sterile needles, and machine
parts are correctly used exclusively for
each client and properly disposed of at
completion. Teresa Rudishauser is licensed
in the State of Oregon and subject to
regular health & safety inspections
regarding permanent cosmetics procedures.
Using a
state-of-the-art digital machine made
specifically for permanent cosmetics that
allows pigment to glide into the skin with a
smooth and gentle vibration. This special digital
machine also allows going to the perfect
depth for longer-lasting permanent cosmetics
with maximum comfort.
If you have allergies to
regular make-up your are more than likely
the perfect candidate for permanent make up.
We will do a small "patch test" then wait
4-6 weeks before proceeding.
You will rest comfortably
in a private room during the procedure.
Numbing cream is used prior and during the
entire process.
After the procedure you
will receive a sheet on post-treatment care
and it is important that you follow these
instructions.
A follow-up
visit will be scheduled for 4-6 weeks after
your initial application. Being conservative
with the color and shape during the initial
application, the follow-up time can be used
to fine-tune and touch-up an area of the
skin that may have expelled the
pigmenting process. At the touch up visit
clients can say they would like the area
darker and thicker.
Because the pigment of
permanent cosmetics heals into the skin and
doesn't wash off, it is considered
permanent. Ultra-violet exposure from sun or
tanning booths, after care, and skin
treatments all may affect the permanence of
the micropigmentation. Fading does
occur requiring periodic maintenance to keep
permanent cosmetics fresh.
Your permanent cosmetic
make-up procedure depends on the skill of
the technician, the products used for
application, how deep the cosmetic tattoo is
made into the skin, how well you take care
of the treated area while it is healing and
whether or not you use a total sun block
after the procedure has completely healed.
All of these factors
will determine how long the permanent
cosmetics will last. Color enhancers are
also suggested "as needed" to keep the
procedure looking fresh and new.
